Annabel is a passionate cook and cookery teacher. She also enjoys spending time food writing and takes accompanying photos.

Last year Annabel spent 3 months at the world renowned Ballymaloe cookery school in Ireland passing with highly commended. Whilst there she also studied for and gained the Ballymaloe certificate (highly commended) in wine and spirits.

Previously Annabel travelled in Asia and spent time at the Blue elephant cookery school in Bangkok learning the secrets of Thai cuisine.  Having a Chinese mother who originated from Malaysia and who taught Oriental cooking when she came to the UK, Annabel has picked up her knowledge in the areas of Chinese, Thai and Malaysian cooking. She has also spent time cooking with the founder of the ever popular Ruby Cantonese restaurant in Cheltenham.

Annabel has recently launched her Oriental food business, giving demonstrations, cooking lessons and catering for dinner parties. She also demonstrate and teaches Oriental cooking as a guest in schools to raise cultural awareness and develop pupils interests in cooking dishes originating from South East Asia.
